The geography of the Chesapeake Bay is such that you could stand at any given spot on the beach between Willoughby Spit and the Cape Henry Lighthouse (a 2o mile distance), face the water and look to the right to watch the sun rise in the morning, then look to the left to watch the sun set in the evening.
